Jos Menting is a documentary photographer with a passion for seeing and expressing the beauty in people going about their daily lives. Born in the Netherlands into a close-knit, brick factory community in an un-spoilt landscape, he tries to reflect the wonders of our environment and our interdependence with it.

Primarily, he is captivated by people he has met on his travels across many borders, on early morning walks in cities and in the countryside.

Nature photos of wild flowers and the amazing landscapes of Ireland in perfect light.

Studio and wedding photography to capture your perfect day.

Over the years he has lived in Brussels, Belfast and Dublin and made a living as a freelance photographer and teaching photography.

His work has been exhibited in Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris and Belfast and published in many magazines.

Teaching allows him to share his passion with many different groups of people with the aim of inspiring others to see around them in a new light.

Much of his work is in the form of reportage-style photo stories to attempt to delve beneath the surface. His love for hand printed black and white images lends itself to a creative unique style in the photo studio and on location. His recent exploits in nature photography are shot on 6 x 6 format and colour slides.

Jos is available to work on assignment, in studio and on location and is always looking for places to exhibit.

Why choose for a way of living that is unsustainable and destructive.
Do we not want our children to live in a clean world were they can
experience the natural world in all her facets and see a caring society
with less deprivation.
